The 360° Driving Plate Library
IgelkottPlates is a public, priced library of 491 filmed 360° driving plates. 349 at 8K360 (7680 × 3840) for 25,000 SEK and 142 at 16K360 (15360 × 7680) for 37,500 SEK, before VAT. Shot on one lens on one sensor, gyro-stabilized, stitching-free up to 16K, delivered as equirectangular 360° × 180° ProRes 422 HQ with NotchLC and other formats on request.
What is in the library?
491 plates across 16 locations in five countries, filmed, priced and in stock. Every plate carries a published price, so the catalogue can be read and compared without a quote step. The table below is the whole library by country.

18 plates carry no location tag, 17 of them from the train series. Grouped by region, the Nordic countries hold 232 plates (Sweden 209, Denmark 16, Norway 7). All three are Scandinavian countries, which makes Scandinavia the largest single region in the library. Add the 22 plates from the United Kingdom and coverage in Europe is 254 of 491, which makes the European share larger than the American one at 219. Which locations cover both day and night?
Four. Washington D.C. has 53 day plates and 26 night, Stockholm 30 and 15, New York 24 and 14, London 7 and 13. That matters when a sequence has to cut between a day exterior and a night exterior in the same city.
What is the difference between 8K360 and 16K360?

Both formats are equirectangular over the full 360° × 180° sphere, with a usable field of 360° × 125°. Pixels per degree states how much resolution lands on the part of the sphere a camera actually sees, which is the figure to compare against an LED wall. All 88 16K360 plates come from London, Los Angeles, Upplands-Bro or the train series.
How long is a plate?
The median plate runs 4 minutes 05 seconds. The shortest is 1 minute 18 seconds and the longest 19 minutes 04 seconds. Of the 437 plates published as of August 2026, 430 run at least two minutes and 395 at least three.
By format, the median 8K360 plate is 4 minutes 13 seconds at 58.45 GB and the median 16K360 plate is 3 minutes 19 seconds at 80.07 GB. Plan storage and transfer against those figures rather than against a per-second estimate.
How high is the camera?
Point of View Height is published on every product page. It is constant within a vehicle type, so two plates shot from the same type of vehicle cut together.

What do you receive when you buy a plate?

What conditions are covered?
Time of day is tagged per plate and a plate can carry more than one tag: Day 320, Afternoon 227, Night 79, Morning 51, Evening 32, Sunset 25, Dawn 17, Twilight 6, Dusk 4, Sunrise 3. 488 of the 491 plates carry a weather tag: Clear 285, Partly Cloudy 135, Overcast 64, Fog 4. Season is tagged on all 491: Spring 168, Summer 153, Winter 111, Autumn 59.
What does the licence cover?
The licence is published in paragraphs 3 and 5 of the Terms of Use, so a production can read the terms in full before contacting anyone.
It is non-exclusive, worldwide and perpetual, for one named project, with no geographic or time restriction, across all media formats and channels. Television series are licensed per season. Named VFX vendors, post houses and colourists receive the file without a separate sub-licence fee, provided they use it only for that project and return or destroy their copies on delivery.
Payment is in advance. There are no net terms, and a proforma invoice against a purchase order is available. Buyers outside the EU are not charged Swedish VAT. Further answers on ordering and delivery are collected in the frequently asked questions.
Can you test a plate before buying it?
Yes. Every plate in the library has a Sample variant at 0 SEK: ten seconds, full resolution, watermarked. Because it is full resolution rather than a downscaled preview, it can be loaded into the playback chain, mapped onto the wall and judged at the delivered pixel density before any money moves. What if the route you need is not in the library?
Custom shoots start at 125,000 SEK inside the EU and 250,000 SEK outside it. One shooting day yields roughly three minutes of finished plate, so a single shooting day is the unit to plan against.
Who publishes the library?
Igelkott Film AB, company registration 556998-7794, VAT SE556998779401, trading under the Igelkott Studios brand (Swedish trade mark 545539, class 41). 56 productions between 2018 and 2025 for Netflix, Amazon, Viaplay, Cmore, SVT, TV4, NRK and cinema. Sales are B2B only.
